eureka county historical society museum

Eureka is a well-preserved mining town in northeastern Nevada, and the museum preserves the towns history, starting with the offices of the newspaper whose walls are covered with the many different handbills they printed over the past century. Upstairs you'll find displays on local history in a fascinating look at Nevada's past.

This a a great small town museum with some much history from the mining days. However my favourite was the old printing room where the local newspaper was printed for many years.

We enjoyed reading about the history of the town. The displays are wonderful.We were left alone to enjoy the displays and read the history at our own pace.

A very entertaining and educational stop on a side road that is worth the drive to see country off the main road.

rien à ajouter sauf que la personne présente à l'accueil était très sympathique et attentionnée. Le musée se trouve au bout de la rue qui longe la mairie à une petite centaine de mêtres de la rue principale. Compter 30mn à 45mn pour la visite.
