This is a huge antiques mall filled to capacity with all manner of goods. Lots of booths to browse around and find anything your heart desires.
Omgosh, if you can't find it here, you really aren't looking! Lots of stuff for guys as well as all the usual glass and pretties. Many booths seem to be themed, nautical, tropical, wildlife, toys etc. plus every other thing you could expect to find. Furniture, from huge armoires to small occasional tables. Prices seem to be fair. Very fun place to spend a few hours. Visible from highway, huge parking lot. Also in the building is the 59er Diner so you can extend the nostalgic experience to when you get hungry.
Without fail, every time we go to Leavenworth, we have to head to Apple Annie's. A person could spend hours on end going through this warehouse. Back and forth, up and down the long aisles of endless venders, a person can find treasures from yesteryear. We have two young daughters who love looking for toys and books from "back in the day". This is the best place outside of Seattle that we have found in the state of WA carrying a variety of items throughout the century and then some. I LOVE unique tea sets and OLD and I mean OLD books. Found a book from 1895 for a very reasonable price. I have found they are very reasonably priced as well. If you enjoy antiquing, this should be a must see. There's a diner connected to the store where you can buy yourself an old fashioned malt or shake. So delicious! Another bonus, there's another great antique shop across the street as well, smaller, but just as fun!
My Wife and I love the activity of browsing antique stores abroad. I can honestly say that this particular antique mall has the luxury of being the best in the immediate region. Truly tons of old items of all sorts. We both got lost in the many rows of antiques, they also have a unique little coffee stand with a few bites to help you get enough energy to get through the entire mall. This is truly a don't miss if your any where in the neighborhood.Sincerely! Richard F.
This Antique Mall has plenty of parking, and lots of merchandise. We didn't make any purchases, but were surprised by the quantity, and quality, both of which are all over the place, from pristine to garage sale variety. The other antique mall just across the highway is equally bountiful and a bit better quality, but they are both worth looking for treasures.
Wide aisles most wide enough for wheel chair, clean-not junky, welcomed our large (well behaved) dog to be with us on a very hot day. Packed the treasures we bought very well.
Our first visit to the 59er Diner was a disaster but we chalked it up to just recently opening. I had the Philadelphia California sandwich for 10.99. The meat was terribly fatty and burnt beyond recognition and we waited for greater than 1 hour. Being residents of Cashmere we like to support our local businesses so we decided to give it another try with the Sunday breakfast buffet. Although the buffet had a few choices, it was definitely not worth 12.99. It reminded of the free breakfast you get at any hotel. It is all you can eat but since we typically only eat one plateful it was not worth the money. Just went there this evening for their third shot. I ordered the grilled cheese with ham and a cup of soup. I thought to myself that it was super easy and not difficult to mess up. Right before the food was coming out the waitress informed me they were out of soup. The ham and grilled cheese consisted of white bread, one slice of processed American cheese and two slices of extremely thin deli ham. The grilled cheese was 4.99 and to add the ham was 1.99 extra. So, I paid 1.99 for two tiny pieces of ham that I could have picked up at the local grocery store for paid 1.99 for an entire package! Unfortunately, we will never return to the restaurant. The antique part of the store if worthwhile to stop in but save you appetite for another restaurant.
The trip from Leavenworth to Cashmere is 25 min.Well worth the trip.An enormous large store with individual stalls of all time periods.Bought a silver plated cutlery sett for a great price
We enjoyed our visit here. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would describe the items as collectibles over antiques as I still own and use many of the dishes, etc that they were selling. The building is well organized and easy to wander through. Definitely worth a stop if you enjoy looking at stuff your mom and grandma used.
Apple Annie's is a fantastic place to visit but there 59er Diner has very expensive fast food and poor service. Order a bacon burger costing $10 thinking it would come with french fries, not so. The 'run of the mill' krinkle cut 'Sysco' fries cost an additional $1.50. So for $11.50 I got a burger combo, Yikes!! Could have gone to Red Robin an for $9.99 recieved a burger combo with quality bottomless fries. All this as three different wait staff came by and asked us if we wanted water or something to drink. Had to ask for a bill to pay. We won't eat here again but will visit Apple Annies Antiques again. Love the nostalgia.
It is great to have the 59er diner attached to the Antique Gallery. After walking around the big store, you get hungry and the smell from the Diner are very enticing! The food was amazing. Old fashioned charm and mouth watering food.
