mckellar cabin trail

If you want to get off the boat, have lunch at the landing and stretch your legs, then get back on the boat, this short little trail takes about 5-10 minutes to walk, so it's doable. There should be signs (they're in the process of getting fixed) describing some local history, too. Not a huge amount to see, but if you're only in Stehekin for an hour (silly decision!), it's about all you can get to.

The cabin is a standard one room job in pretty good shape, about 20 feet off the road. You might as well look while you are there.The rest of the "trail" just circles around one building and comes out 30 feet down the same road 3 minutes of walking later. I think they'd do better to just advertise the cabin and give up on the trail part.
