If you want to paddle a canoe through a cypress swamp and enjoy nature undisturbed this is the place for you. If you are looking for amenities find another destination. This is a great afternoon adventure with some exercise. Have fun, and don't get lost in the the trees.

We've visited here a couple of times with our dogs. My hubby always tells me to watch out for the gators though... although we've never seen the likes of one in the water or on th bank by the water. The park has a nice area for you to sit, swing, etc. Great place to picnic (away from the water maybe). :)

We decided to take a quick trip to the park, just to walk around, explore, and build up an appetite. Parking was free, they had a donation box at the entrance, so we did. We parked by the lake, the walked around and explored a bit, took some lovely pictures, and headed out...when we noticed we missed the nature trail..oops. Next time.

One of my favorite places to take my clients, its greatly versatile in the backgrounds and views. Lots of water and walking/biking trails and always full of nature. Great place to picnic or take the kids and they have a lot of options available to rent for parties and outings.

This is a very nice little park. Not a lot of people if you like privacy. Can walk for miles and never be bothered by the noise of others. Very peaceful and clean. I have never met the (Ranger) but have seen him many times just cleaning up. He is always working. Some take their jobs for granted. Obviously, this man does his duty. Like one review, if there was a safety issue with size of the boaters, great decision to ere on the side of caution. I once saw a fellow washing his dog in the nice creek. Just thought that was kind of cool. Take your dog to the spa while walking him.

Great place for Picnics or Strolls,Great place to Fish,But just love the Nature trail,Not too Long,But Just the right distance.
