The park is a great place to have a picnic, toss the football or sit on the swings and marvel at the view of the Beaufort River.

On any given morning with decent weather, you’re likely to find some locals and tourists jogging in this attractive little park. Me, I just like to stroll along the waterfront promenade (what a great view!) or just relax and re-energize. It’s a near-perfect place for that sort of thing. You can sometimes even find solitude if you visit at the right time of year and the right time of day. During my recent visit on a delightfully mild and sunny March morning I had the park almost all to myself – a few joggers excepted -- for the better part of an hour.

I liked the swing seats overlooking the water people watching, or you can watch from a restaurant patio. Pleasant place

along the river and nicely kept. very close to downtown shops and restaurants. Nice view of bridge to islands

Peaceful spot with swinging benches along the ICW. Just off the main street for resting the tootsies.

Just beautiful...the view is breath taking. The swings and really nice and the children's playground is really nice.

Worth the walk if you're in town. It was february and a cold one at that but still a lovely break from the antique stores.

A wonderful jewel for Beaufort. Can walk along the river viewing the boats at the docks or on the river. Lots of convenient parking with easy access to main shopping street. Some restaurants have patios overlooking park and river.

Sitting out on the swing just watching the sailboats this weekend was one of my favorite things from our time in Beaufort.

The play ground area kept our kids entertained for a great deal of time and is situated in a very picturesque location, literally feet from the open water. There are great family sized swings facing the water, open green areas and covered spaces that would make for great picnic spots on a hot summer day. There are quite a few good restaurants, bars and a yogurt stand in the general area, so no need to leave to grab some food or a treat.

Nice stroll, benches around for stopping to view the water. Sail boats going by, birds flying, people playing in the park.

Myself & my husband frequently visit the Waterfront it's, relaxing, family friendly and we love it. The view is beautiful there and my daughter loves playing on the playground there

We enjoyed strolling at the waterfront,what a view.There are swings and a playground and everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves.

We love to sit on the swings and watch the activities out in the bay. Restaurants are available with porches that look out on the bay as well.

My favorite aspect of Waterfront Park are the outdoor swings that have stunning views of the water. A nifty little park, restaurants scattered near the end, and easy parking. I love Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park.
