Good value in most shops, love the layout, they could have more food options - I hated having to leave to eat a meal and return to shop.
Tanger Outlet is situated at Mebane which is about 41 miles from Cary, North Carolina. We drove all the way from Cary and it took about 50 minutes to reach. This is an Outlet Mall located at Arrowhead Blvd, Mebane. All branded shops like Tommy-Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store. Osh Kosh B'Gosh, Reebok, Banana Republic Factory Store and Coach Factory are located here. Summer discounts were available. We visited all the branded shops and made a sizeable shopping. Though Malls are located in our area, we had pleasure in driving to this place and enjoyed our shopping.
First thing that grabs your attention is how clean it is. During our visit I had to use the restrooms, and they too were clean. There are plenty of stores ranging from shoes, well known brands like Michael Kors, clothing for children, men. women, There has to be a store for just about anyone.Prices are not like you wold find in their main store and not as cheap as a clearance store. I would say on average 30% to 50% off the main brand stores. Plenty of parking during the week. Weekends get a bit crazy so go early. Great for young and old alike.
This outlet is very neat and clean but we feel like it just needs needs more stores. We really enjoy shopping the outlets as a family and have been to many others, this one is just your average outlet. The Hanes store is large due to the fact that you are in the area where they are from. We had the best luck at Nike and Ralph Lauren but did not walk away with a lot of other purchases. If in the area it may be worth a quick stop but I would not go out of my way to shop here.
Picked up some fabulous deals as always the day after Christmas. It is becoming an annual tradition to drive out to these outlets to pick up a couple of good deals. Buyers need to really know their prices, since the inflated price tags make it look like a better bargain that it is. This outlet center is pretty new and with that being said, quite attractive to shop at.
Have shopped here on many occasions and have always been satisfied! They have most of the popular stores with the exception of Nautica. The area has always been clean and there are places to rest or wait..I would recommend a visit to Tanger!
As soon as you get there, check the directory for the office. Stop in and get your coupons. Probably 4 eateries on-site. I think a Subway, Burger place & pizza. Can't remember the other. Must try the popcorn kiosk; all natural - no chemicals. :-) AND, if you like consignments, there's a reasonably priced CONSIGNMENT shop right before you enter the mall (clothes, jewelry & furniture).
Like most places in NC, also here it was very clean and the shops offered nice deals where I ended up buying gifts for back home!50% off with an additional labor day % off from the shopsGood deals!
Ok if you need clothing. Some overpriced some good buys. Living close by I can check frequently for sales. That's worth it if you are in the market for clothing or shoes. Had a qvc outlet but closed all QVC'S in any Tanger Outlet. Hate they closed those as it was fun to go see a variety store. I would only stop if i were truly looking for clothing.
We were here last Sunday and had a nice time walking around browsing the stores. We had a lot of luck finding baby clothes in Carter's and Osh Kosh.
This is one of the smaller Tanger outlet's I have been to. I wanted to go to the Coach outlet and Kitchen Collections. I am a Tanger Club member and always like to get my coupon book when I arrive. I went to the first mall office and it closed, directing you to the other one (it was on the opposite side of the mall). The Coach outlet was smaller than the ones I'm used to going to as well. I would go back again if I were in the area, but I would also try the Alamance mall as well. Would not drive out of the way to go to it.
Of all the outlet centers in NC/SC, this is out favorite because it is so nice and has more high end stores like Lacoste and Vineyard Vines. Bathrooms are ample and very clean. We have found that the prices are a TAD higher here than they are in Smithfield (about an hour away), but Smithfield is not nearly as nice. You can make a great day shopping here with a quick trip over to Greensboro or back to RDU. We love this place!! Went there today and got a couple of great bargains--plenty of parking and once you learn the center, you can park and pop in from all sides and minimize your walk and shopping time. Nice!
Had a brief stopover here on business. There is ample parking and a good selection of stores. Pretty decent as outlet malls go. The Gap outlet was especially good, as was Banana republic, Ralph Lauren and JCrew. I came out a couple of hundred dollars lighter, so I suppose you'd surmise it was a successful outing.
I hate it.....alamance crossing an tanger outlets are the same thing.....instead of putting two outlet center in two different places why couldn't it be one big mall then u never have to go two different OUTLET CENTER to buy something u want....this is one citizen you will never see there
Well laid out and beautifully done! Great stores and solid sales. We love the Bass Outlet. Their shoe sales are amazing! Make sure to stop by customer service and get a coupon book too!
