Nice city park located in Mocksville, off Main Street (158), next to Mocksville Elementary (Cemetery Road). Just follow the signs from Main Street to get to the park.Highlights- Two different playground areas (swings, slides, etc) for the kids - Pavilions for birthday parties, events, etc- Catch a ball game at the American Legion baseball field- Softball field- Netted pitching practice areas- Lots of nature trailsThe star for me are the countless nature trails. Several trails to hop on to just enjoy nature, get some exercise, or walk your dog.Nature Trail FYIs- There are several trails but don't worry about getting on one for a long distance. Most loop back around to main park areas. You are not going to get lost. :-)- There are no signs or handouts showing the trail maps or distances. - Dogs are welcome on the trails. Please pick up your dog's crap though.- No doggie bags for dog crap at the park. Bring your own bags.- The trails are not paved. No big deal unless it rained prior to your arrival (i.e. mud).- Trails on the NE side are the most remote and hilly - The park is safe so don't worry about safety issues in the main park or trails
