Off the beaten path is a family owned winery that is worth a visi . There are very few places where you can be served by the owner. Knowledgeable in the art of wine making just the conversations are worth a visit. U of K fans will love the Wildcat Blue wine. I liked it so much this is what I bought to bring home. Don't pass them up when your in the area. A side note, your GPS will send you to the wrong location. Best advice is call the winery for directions or visit their website for the correct directions.

My husband worked for months in the area, we had ample time to explore all the wineries. This is by far our favorite. Mark the owner is a warm & friendly host. In the months since, we have made the 6+ hour drive back there to replenish our wine racks multiple times. There is something for every palate. Mark is knowledgeable without being elitist. It's a refreshing change when wine tasting. We could absolutely purchase wine closer to home but we choose to make a weekend out of making a visit to Indian Creek.

Went here for the 1st time with some friends last year to taste some wines & share a cheese platter. Mark, the owner, made a very tasty cheese platter to complement his delightful wines. They are a newer winery--only a couple years old now. We also enjoyed Mark's sense of humor. My favorite was his Lilly White. Our friends really liked his Cardinal Red. Definitely a winery to visit in Southern Indiana.
