Cutting edge, creative, artistic..talented...so many wonderful adjectives for thisable community theatre group. and sooo entertaining...kudos and applause..

As far as local theater goes CST has got it down, the people are more than welcoming and professional, the shows I have seen have all been outstanding, but most of all the classes for the kids are fantastic! Our youngest daughter has been attending summer classes here for the last few years and can't wait to go back this summer. If you go to CST I can assure you will enjoy!

Wonderful intimate theatre-- not a bad seat in the house. Love local theatre-- and really appreciate all the hard work these people do for our entertainment.

With about 6-8 productions a year and a very active youth classes program the Chicago Street Theater is a hidden gem to most of the community. Productions range from comedy to dramatic and while the actions and production staff are all volunteers the productions are very good. For a really unique date or of out of town guests are in, this is an excellent option.

We attended a performance of "The Graduate" this spring and really enjoyed it. It is nice to be able to go to local live theatre and see such a quality performance. The cast did a great job.

Tired of the hackneyed entertainment on TV or at the movies? Then try attending a live production at the Chicago Street Theater. The intimacy of this venue plus the talent that performs here make an evening here most enjoyable. Be aware that some performances are for adults.

Went to the play "A View From The Bridge" on opening weekend. The actors were amazing, very professional & the set was also very impressive. Will definitely be attending more plays in the future. Very enjoyable evening!!

This is a terrific local theatre. They have some really unique and interesting play selections. There seems to be something for everyone… kids shows, comedy and drama.

The theater itself is very comfortable. The majority of the help, volunteers and employees are amazing! Some other people and myself have discussed the changes that have occurred with the classes, since Patty Bird left. We all agree how warm, kind, and welcoming she was. She created a warm, caring and professional environment. We miss her.

People are missing a great opportunity if they pass up the great musicals and plays put on at CST. The local talent rivals Chicago and so why drive to the city? Yes, the faciltiy is a bit outdated, but that is part of the charm of the cozy theater. They also offer classes that my son has participated in and loved. Parking is the only issue but that is a problem anywhere in downtown Valpo.

The troupe of regulars who perform here are very talented individuals. The theatre is small but genuine and needs the community to support it. There have been impressive performances every time I've seen a play or musical here. What a joy!
