the peanut on 127th st.

I have visited the original peanut on main and wasn't that impressed. I had the opportunity to stay out in Overland Park and thought I would give the one on 127th a shot. A very nice surprise. The atmosphere is nicer and the food and service was better. I had a burger with fries which cost extra. A good size burger a little over cooked but my fries were hot and crispy. Overall not bad. The service was very good. The bartender kept checking back to see if I needed anything. They have free wifi which is a plus. Lost of TV's but sitting at the bar is probably the only bad spot for TV's. I will be back if in the area again.

In Kansas City for work for a week and found this hidden gem. It is a sports bar. Nothing fancy. It is a great pub to stop at for a cold beer and some excellent chicken wings. The chicken wings are HUGE. The wings are the entire wing, not just the "drumstick". Buffalo sauce is HOT and spicy. lolOverall, an excellent place to hide out for a while and enjoy the nightly football game and a beer or two, or three or floor...

A little dark for lunch, but the staff is friendly and the food is good. What more can a guy ask for when wanting a quick beer and burger...
