We live 3 hours from The Point and whenever we are in the area, we plan a night at the drive-in! Much more affordable than taking the family to a theater and there is nothing like watching movies under the stars. It takes me back to my teenage years when drive-ins were still around southeastern Pennsylvania and south Jersey. A family of 5 was $28 and the food stand prices are very affordable too! Try to find a bucket of popcorn for 5.75 at a mega theater. Every time we go there are first run movies at both ends of the double feature. Only downside is is is a grass field surrounded by trees so bring the citronella candles or bug spray if you plan to sit outside.
This is a fun evening for a family. The prices are reasonable, and it is hard to beat an evening under the stars and watching a good movie. The experience brings out the lost kid in all of us. A friendly staff, reasonable price and multiple movie selections make it great for family fun time. A must do when in the area.
This gem is hard to find just anywhere. It's fun to go with the family. The picture quality and sound is ok, but you don't really go to a drive in for the quality I'd say. The staff is friendly. The food isn't great but the popcorn, candy and soda are!
This place is an experience you can't find in any movie theater. It is hard to explain the ambiance of sitting under the stars on a warm Summer night with reasonably priced food and ticket prices and enjoying a great movie. It is a fond memory from my childhood and is truly something one must experience first hand. The best part is you can come for one movie and stay for a second at no extra charge. With three screens, there is always something for everyone. The only downfall to this place would be the cleanliness of the bathrooms.
So nice to be able to give the kids an experience from long ago...drive in just aren't available everywhere anymore -- they saw Monster's University and got Superman to boot -- 2 movies for 1
Used to be a porn place, not anymore! Love their 'horror-fests', but it's an economical way to entertain your kids. They'll be asleep before you know it!
Two movies for about what you'd pay for one at a theater. Friendly people!! A most enjoyable experience!!!! Been going all my life and will continue to go! :-)
This is the most kid friendliest drive-in, in the area. Make sure to bring your frizbie and ball and glove so that kids can play before the movies, yes that's 2 movies for the price of one!! Vararity of consession stands foods to include popcorn, candies, peroggies and much, much more. It's a nice change on those summer/fall nights.
