The staff is always friendly and helpful and they will wrap your purchases free of charge. There is also a nice selection of greeting cards and gift items that are attractively packaged. I especially love the chocolate covered potato chips. They are addictive.Another unique product that they make is chocolate shot glasses. These are delicious when filled with Bailey's, Kahlua or Rumchata. When you are finished, you can eat the glass! If you are ever unsure of a gift for someone, stop at Philadelphia! Everyone loves chocolate!

Be sure to get the 'croquettes'. If you have them, you won't be able to stop thinking about them until you get them again. I grew up in Sharon so I'm sentimental toward Philadelphia Candies, but I've given them to people as presents for many years and they are always fully, fully satisfied. I recently returned an hour from home for a visit and assumed that my mom was stopping by the store on the way to meet us on the vacation. After everyone went to bed, I check the refrigerator. Nothing. I checked the freezer nothing. I checked four more times over the next two days because I couldn't stop thinking about them. My sister caught me searching and admitted that she had also been secretly searching!! This is the level of attachment that you can get to the croquettes.At the end of the visit, we stocked up and headed for home in Montreal. We left the chocolate in the car and it melted somewhat. When unpacking, my wife came to me and said she had bad news. I assumed she was going to tell me that the chocolates couldn't be saved. Instead, she said she had merely broken the windshield unpacking! Not such bad news.

A trip to Mercer County is not complete without a stop at Philadelphia Chocolates. It is by far the best chocolate ever! If I buy a box, you can not think of much else till the last piece of chocolate is eaten and enjoyed!

I was in Hermitage (Sharon), PA to visit a relative and wanted to pick up something special to take back home. We ended up at Philadelphia Candies and it was love at first bite. The shop is brightly lit, well arranged and deeply stocked with various boxed candy, gift packages and specialty items. The biggest hit, however, are the display cases, stocked with the freshest candy you will ever get. Think sea salt caramels - cookie and cream meltaways - butter creams. WOW!! The staff is very helpful with information to make your choices the right ones. The display cases are kept dark to keep the candy fresh - lit when you request to look at a certain type of chocolate. Ingredients are explained thoroughly by the knowledgeable staff. I left satisfied and will return again and again.

Always lifts my spirits after a hard day's work. I have relatives scattered across different states and for special occasions I order candy from Philadelphia candies and have it shipped to them. They absolutely love it!

I wanted a wine bottle coated with chocolate for a donation and they did a beautiful job.i have to send chocolate covered potato chips to my family each holiday. They have a great selection of sugarfree chocolates for my dad with diabetes.

Am from Detroit. Visit Philadelphia Candies every time I visit, usually with orders from friends. Not only is it the best chocolate ever, there are always unique gifts or chocolate designs. For example: chocolate maple leaf shapes or chocolate pumpkins. Staff are always helpful with ideas if one is looking for something special. I always look forward to visiting and seeing what is new. If you like chocolate candy go to Philadelphia Candies in Hermitage, PA. The best thing about their chocolate is that it is of high quality and is not waxy like some chocolate. They also have a wide variety to choose from. And they will deliver for a small fee.

Love this little candy store ladies are super nice. The store smells so good and is always decorated so cute for holidays. We love there Choc. Covered potato chips and peanutbutter croquettes . We will be making lots of trips here when we r up that way.

Just can't find chocolate where I live like Philadelphia Candies. They have the BEST Nut Eggs at Easter time. Almost worth the road trip just to get it
