The ghost hunters in our group as well as the child really enjoyed this tour. Everyone reported they learned something.

A must visit for the sole reason it's the site of the lone civilian fatality during the Battle of Gettysburg, the Jennie Wade house is easily located on Baltimore St. right near the intersection with Steinwehr and easy walking distance from several other Baltimore St. attractions. The tour guides know their stuff, and have a good story to tell what happened that fateful day. This is one of three "Jennie Wade Houses" in Gettysburg. Her birth home is further up Baltimore right by the small witness tree park, and the house she lived at during the battle (won't spoil the story) is near the borth home on Stratton St. A popular ghost tour is also run from the home at Midnight. There is a good gift shop, too.

One of our stops as we were walking around Gettysburg was the Jennie Wade house, listening to the story about how she was killed while making bread was fascinating.

The town of Gettysburg is a town that there is nothing like it. Its like a history book opening rightin front of you and you are there.. The buildings and every thing around the town even to the bullet holes in the brick wall of the Wade Home which also is full of many things to see from the era from the battles there. With all the guns along all the roads and they are marked with signs of what happened at each point. So you see this part of the trip it will take more than one bus tour here to see this great history book unfold for you and don`t for get the camera this is a picture heaven for all to take home for all to see--We came here three days in a row and I think as the granddaughter stated we could still see more an other day. I think the next time we come we will bring the van so we can spend more time in each area. And now off in the morning to the home of George Washington in the morning. Virg Hempstead

The tour of the Jennie Wade house was very interesting. There are bullet holes in the door that were fired from the Farnsworth House, another interesting site. At the end of this tour you are taken down to the basement to witness some paranormal testing.

Really enjoyed the history in this town. If you are into history this town is it!!!! There's much to see so you might need a night or two to be able to see everything.

What a great history lesson for the young and old. Learning about someone who might just get a passing sentence in a history book growing up is well worth the visit. The house, the furnishings, the story behind the heroic people will move you to tears.

This was a very cool. You got to tour the home upstairs and down. You have a tour guide leading the way and telling you the sad story.

The Jennie Wade house in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania was a very neat place I would absolutely recommend. Our tour guide was excellent. (Bonus: When we got home from Gettysburg, we watched the Ghost Adventures from when they came to Gettysburg, and our tour guide played a ghost on the show)

The Jennie Wade story resonates with every Battlefield visitor. The House docents know their subject, answer questions well andthe House is filled with Wade items like the blood-stained floor board and door with bullet hole. Visitors often ask where the sniper who killed Jennie was located. Answer: probably the attic of the Farnsworth House which you will find on the opposite side of the street a block or so away. Too bad the Jennie Wade House today is surrounded by tacky parking lot and gift shops for such an important site.

Roger was our tour guide, and he was wonderful!..it was just my husband, son and myself and Roger made the tour so interesting. I think it was well worth the money...we all enjoyed it.

For $8.00 you are granted a tour of the building, along with a guide, who retells the sad story of Jennie Wade during the Battle of Gettysburg. It lasted about a half-hour and was worth every penny. The building itself is in fantastic shape, so you can tell the staff really care about it's overall appearance and condition. The tour guide got bonus points too, because he was the only tour guide in Gettysburg who did not mention anything about tips when he was done. If we ever come back to Gettysburg, I wouldn't mind paying to hear the story again. So, in my opinion, the Jennie Wade House is worth checking out.

Very interesting building and story. Not to be missed. it is a great visual, especially if there are kids. You actually see how the family lived and where the bullet holes hit the home.

We toured the Jennie Wade House the day after Halloween and we LOVED IT! Our tour guide (male - early 20's) was AMAZING! he was so informative and we learned so much! This house is so historic and truly a once in a lifetime experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Being in the room where Jennie Wade died was humbling. I can't begin to imagine the horrific time the citizens of Gettysburg had to deal with during the battle and long beyond.
