golden sands golf course

Golden Sands is not too fancy, not too difficult, but for a low cost, low key golf course it's great! It's a great course to take the family hackers and the youngsters, and a great place for an outing. And their pizza rocks! Great place while at Silver Lake for a break from the beach for a bit of golf.

I'm not a golfer but visit at least once a year just to get the pizza! Located on a beautiful site and open for outdoor events such as reunions and weddings as well.

Our family had a great time on this course. It is well cared for and in a very convenient location. We spent a lot of time at this location.

I've been going to Golden Sands for years for golf, good food (get the bread bites) and even held my wedding at the course. Bill & Alicia work so hard to make your experience fun and memorable! Glow Golf is probably my FAVORITE event of the year! Our wedding was the perfect day! Every idea we had came to life, and our friends and family had an amazing time! The course was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the entire day was incredible! The only problem we had was it went by too fast! :)

This course is great for the casual or beginner golfer that doesn't take life too seriously. Best part is the cute clubhouse and new patio and pizza! We just go there to order pizza and hang out at the patio and enjoy! They just got there liquor license and have TVs to watch the game. Very friendly staff!

Wow what a hidden treasure. Just south oh pentwater. Family fun golf. We ordered pizza at hole 7 and we could get off the course and enjoy dinner and a great glass of wine. Great afternoon or early evening outing.

I've been hearing about how great the pizza is from here and finally checked it out, looks like I have a new source for pizza, it delicious and the staff was very friendly!

My husband & I found this course after a friend said, "It was worth the drive." So glad we took the drive. It was beautiful in every direction. The course was fun and more challenging than we anticipated. We play courses all over the state and this is by far our new favorite. We were shocked how affordable it was to golf, dine and have drinks. Truly a family friend course, so refreshing to see. We booked a family golf trip for not only our kids but grandkids. We are excited to start a new family tradition with the Golden Sands Golf Course & Bucket Bar. Thank you!

Wow...just...wow..and not in a good way. It is a novel idea..turn some old farm land into a 9 hole course. But the execution of said novel idea was not good...not good at all lol I couldn't tell where a fairway ended and the rough started. And nothing there was exactly a bargain. Probably spent $100 after golfing, food and some beers for the course. Clubhouse area is kind of neat. I may go back if I am in the area..but wouldn't make a point of it. They spoke of these bread bites of theirs like they were something out of Gordon Ramsey's Las Vegas restaurants...they were some dough balls with garlic salt on them...so yea. That being said, the chicken bacon ranch pizza was quite tasty.
