the creole gallery

Mr. Busby was a genius! Whenever I visit this gallery, I am pulled into art in a way that I never thought I could appreciate! It's so quaint and cozy and when I have attended functions where there is food and music flowing, I NEVER feel like I'm anywhere near Lansing, MI - has the feel of New York or D.C. This needs to be a cherished landmark because it helped to redefine and bring new life to Old Towne!

This has been a Lansing landmark for years. Whether you are at the Creole for music or art, it's a great place to kick back and visit. The atmosphere is classic Oldtown with brick walls and hardwood floors. Great management, very friendly. Def a place to check out.

Went to an event there on December 1st. I ended up buying some really great cards from Lynn Hershberger who is a knitter. She has some work at the Michigan State University's Children's Garden which is a must see. A tree covered in scarves and whimsical bells and yarn creations. Oh so delightful.
