Honah Lee Vineyard and Tasting room is a small, simple, friendly, fabulous experience. It is a great place to taste wine and really take the time to enjoy your tasting experience. They also sell local jams, jellies, baked goods and honey, as well as gifts.Very friendly hosts and I love the casual atmosphere!

The innkeeper at Inn on Popular Hill told us about this place. While they don't yet make their own wine, Brandy and Eric Hopwood supply grapes to Gabriele Rausse and Michael Shaps. These are the wines available for tasting. I have had Gabriele's wines, but since his winery isn't open to the public it was great to be able to sit down and taste his wines somewhere other than the Montpelier Wine Festival (which is great fun, but only once a year). We started with Gabriele's wines first. If I remember correctly, we tasted about 10 of his wines. Brandy was very knowledgeable about the wines and was patient with us, because we were talking to other guests too long at times and got behind on our tasting. To make this experience even more wonderful, Brandy had about 20 different homemade jams, jellies and fruit sauces to sample with creme cheese and chocolate. She even had gluten free crackers, which was perfect for me!! I highly recommend both of the ghost pepper (cranberry and peach) jams as well as the fantastic garlic jam. After about an hour or so, Brandy's husband, Eric, came in and we were ready to move to the Michael Shaps tastings. The other visitors came over and we had a great time tasting and talking. I think we were there for almost three hours. Brandy also makes beautiful jewelry! My husband bought me a necklace with a shimmery labradorite stone in a silver setting and a gold bracelet with sapphires and diamond chips. Overall, I can't think of a better way to spend my birthday. We met some really great people, and Brandy and Eric are wonderful hosts. We definitely plan to go back.

My friend and I stopped at BerryWood and Honah Lee Vineyard on a whim and had a lovely visit and wine tasting. We tasted one flight and went back another day to taste the other. This is a very friendly and comfortable spot! The baked goods and jellies are yum! They even have local honey. Wonderful hosts-
