Great place and fair prices. Very clean and loved that the kids cannot just wander out the front door. Free WiFi for the parents is nice but it's too bad we can't jump as well! We will definitely revisit the place when we come back to Charlottesville!
The workers are always friendly even when having to remind your little ones not to climb on the slides. They do a good job of ensuring a safe and fun play place. Snacks are a bit limited and rather pricey for what's offered but other than that it's well worth the 10 bucks I spend for letting my son run around for 5h ours and not have to watch him like a hawk!
Clean, safe and well run. Our grandchildren love place and it great for rainy days or just to run off excess energy, with a number of different things to do. Good for a couple hours of fun. Look for $off coupons.
I live 40 minutes from Charlottesville and regularly come here because otherwise my children will obviously fire me. People are amazing, they are complaining about it being ten dollars? My goodness they can play and paint and bounce all day while you sit on comfy chairs and surfy the web! I don't even know what is wrong with people, they are so full of endless complaints. Great little toy store, snacks, good clean bouncy fun, awesome toddler area, I don't even know what more you could ask for. There are big fish, giant slides, it is really a very safe happy place. I have never had anything but positive interactions with the staff, and the woman who owns it is present almost every day. If you have a complaint I am certain she would listen as she seems lovely and intelligent, but really I think people just like to take to the internet to endlessly complain. The place is very clean, the bathrooms are immaculate. It is an enormous place with huge bounce houses, I think the prices are actually extremely low for the service they provide.
It's one of the few places in town for kids but it does get old after a few $9 visits. We have started driving to Richmond to find a variety of things for kids to do.
Traveled about 50 or so miles to get to this one. We found it on the internet and just thought we'd take the grandkids on a day trip. Wasn't quite as much for them to do there as we'd expected, especially the 1-1/2 year old; but they did have fun for a couple of hours, however. A little pricey for that amount of time; but was worth it to see the fun that they had--especially the 6 year old. We live in an area with tons of big families--ie, children; we do wish someone would open up one here in Fredericksburg.
As if Charlottesville wasn't already pricey, this place has a lot of things to do, located in Semionle Square, good fun however $9 per child..
All the kids had a great time and the adults enjoyed seeing them having so much fun. Thanks to the staff!
A great place for kids to burn off energy while parents can relax and hop on the internet! A win win for all! The best 10.00 you will ever spend!
We were visiting in Charlottesville in Jan 2014 waiting for our granddaughter to be born. We took our 2 year old granddaughter here 3 times and she loved it and so did we ! She spent all her time in the toddler area or where you color - kept her entertained for 2 hours. We also brought the older girls here and they had a great time. Highly recommend it !!
My 21/2 year old brandon absolutely loves Bounce-n-play. There are larger children playing so you do need to watch out for them but the two times we have been there all the children are respectful of the little ones. Before you enter the children have a washing fountain for their hands and they use it before they leave so we have not encountered a flu or cold after being there. We go an hour before closing time or we would never get hime to leave!
My grandsons had a wonderful time here. It is great that they have a smaller area for children 3yrs and younger so that they are out of the way of the bigger kids and the bigger activities. Some children were not well supervised and acting unsafely in the larger area where the older children played. These mostly seemed to be children from the day camp there.
My 6 year old granddaughter loved the bounce houses, 1 year old the toddler area. You don't have to stay forever, but can go in and enjoy for a short or a long while. Friendly, clean and safe. Worth the time to check it out.
It is a good place if you are tired of shopping, driving or walking. There are different areas for different age groups, also there are a big wall-picture to paint, and empty glass-walls to paint with brushes. It is not a small area, so kids could run freely. The place for parents also comfortable, but I think there should be some coffee or hot drinks for parents.
Our kid loves bounce and play. We like it better during months when they run specials because it is pricey compared to going to the park or the excellent local elementary school playgrounds. In the middle of winter, they are about it, so we pony up and smile.Free wifi for the parents. Some of the slides are challenging for adults.
