sfa interpretive trail

the trail goes thru wild forest area with hundreds of birds chirpping . Be ready to walk ,no real rest areas . Not highly maintained paths so you have to watch your step. Outside of birds it is silence in the woods. One way road to make it into hiking area. You are definitely in a back woods area , but we loved it.

These trails are very well maintained. My husband and I love bringing our dogs out here. It's very quiet, and there are rarely any other people on the trails when we are (usually around 6pm on week days). There are wooden benches to rest at all along the trails. There are bathrooms and water fountains at the trail head. Watch out for snakes, and bring bug spray!
