Tucked away on a side street off the main drag (Pecan Street) is a music venue that’s always hopping. During the day, the covered patio seating is filled with people having excellent barbecue, and socializing. A sand volleyball court in the back is designed to have regular league play (and some Meet-Up groups frequent there). There’s also indoor seating for those wishing to eat within the AC. There’s a delicious selection of BBQ items available.After the dining crowd has left, the kitchen closes and the stage opens to allow live music to fill the air. The atmosphere has greatly improved since Hanover’s made the interior smoke-free. The stage is small, which allows a close experience with the bands who play there. The acoustics in the indoor stage are great, so the sound can be appropriately loud without the sound reverberating around. Small tables and benches are scattered near the stage, so those viewing a show have the option to sit or stand close to the stage.Along the opposite wall is a bar which stretches nearly the length of the establishment, which provides additional seating and socializing areas. The restrooms are centrally located, and easily reached from the both the stage area and the outdoor dining section.Even though this is located in center of Pflugerville, there’s a decent amount of parking on the street available during day. Even after dark, the streets are well-lit so if you have to walk a few short blocks to your car, the area is safe.
