I can only say that this museum is wonderful. We here in NM owe the pleasure of this fiesta, museum, notoriety, to the families and "explorers", the Anderson Family, The Abruzzo Family, the Clark Family, and the crews for the Double Eagle II- I am sure I missed some names, but these mentioned were the "forefathers" of ballooning In NM- thank you for a wonderful gift.

We spent about an hour or so in this museum of air balloons. Nice displays and interesting stories. Senior 65 years admission is only $2. A little surprise side visit in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Well laid out floor plan. All I had to do was follow the numbers for the exhibits to learn about helium and hot air ballooning. Enjoyed it tremendously. The gift shop was loaded with colorful balloon gifts. We walked out with some. I would thoroughly recommend this museum.

This is not terrifically big, but it's full of unique items and displays. Also close to SW jewelry stores with one-of-a-kind items. Ballooning is a significant part of the Albuquerque charm, history, and culture. Don't miss this.

My first Balloon experience this October! Went twice! Food was a tad overpriced for families. Maybe next year it could be a better value, because people just work too hard for their money and taking multiple family members can be pretty pricey. Word of advice: eat a big breakfast before you go and take snacks. With that said, what a wonderful facility and thank you to all the volunteers for their time. Albuquerque, the balloon festival is truly special!!!!!!!!!

Located outside of downtown, the museum features a wonderful history and variety of ballooning and artifacts/examples. If you enjoy ballooning this is a must see, also great for children.

My conference group was able to get tethered balloon "rides" so we really enjoyed the chance to experience the thrill!

I was in here for a conference reception and was able to take a tethered balloon ride. It was fun even though we were attached. Beautiful museum view at night.

We stopped by the balloon museum on a recent Route 66 road trip. We were not sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised when we explored the museum. This is the same place where they have the huge balloon race in October, I did not know that.This is really worth the time to see and explore. Bob, one of the volunteers there was about the nicest guys we ever met. He took us on a tour, telling us history about the balloons and events. By the end of our stay, we knew Bob so well that he could have been a long time friend of the family.
