Love em! Love baseball so love em... not too thrilled with the very undignified name. How did we go from Dukes to Isotopes... yes, after the job task of Homer Simpson... they tried to back peddle and say they really meant it to be after our scientific arena... but initially- the submission was after Homer... sad.. but hey, I can over look it to see a game! Lets play Ball! OH and bring a really big wallet- prices are not local friendly so you are no different- and eat before you go... really....
I went by there to grab an Isotopes hat. Not often that a minor league team shop is open during the week, but they were so kudos to them. The stadium is laid out very well with good vantage points all around. Any seat in the house is truly a good one.
Isotope park is one of the best places to watch a game Seats are not costly and lot of food and drink options. You can bring in water if you like too. Entertaining yet relaxing.
It is fun night out, food is not expensive. If you like baseball this is for you I wish the isotopes would win more often
I've been to 1/2 dozen minor league parks and this is by far the best of the lot. Lots of food choices, comfortable seating, decent beer selection. Places for the kids to goof off and a really attractive location. Everyone working there that we ran into were really friendly and happy to help.
This is a beautiful facility and the crowds have always been pleasant, in our experience. We are thrilled to have this family friendly league in ABQ. We always enjoy cheering on the Topes.
Watch the movie Bull Durham and you will know what "hometown baseball" is. If you want to enjoy a relaxing experience, take in an evening game, get your tickets on the 3rd base line to avoid the setting sun, occasionally gaze at the beautiful Sandia mountains, and enjoy a hot dog, nachos and cheese, a beer or soda. The environment is beautiful, people are friendly, parking right across the street. We will be back.
We enjoyed all of our visit. We took in a baseball game ate at their concession, great food and had one beer.
We love to go to Isotopes games. Seats are reasonable. Ballpark food is actually very good and while it is priced a little higher than what you pay outside the park the prices aren't bad. The Isotopes team works very hard to make the games fun. There is always something going on and if you can make it to a game with fireworks they are spectacular. Very family friendly.
Great modern park. Friendly fans, great ballpark food. Great view of the Sandia Mountains. Enjoy a meal at the Quarters up the hill if you're not interested in ballpark food
The stadium in Alburquerque is much like all of the newer breed of parks around the country but that does not make it any less of an attraction. Prices are good, staff is friendly, there is lots of parking, and it is located right near a highway for easy egress.
This is a baseball park with no bad seats. It has the nicest field anywhere and would rival any major league team. We has the best maintenance crew anywhere. The tickets are so reasonable!
Take the whole family to enjoy a baseball game. Lots of food stands, memorabilia and entertainment but all cost pretty penny. There is an area to take small children to play if they get bored. Half time had great races that include the fans. Isotope comes out and interacts with the fans as well. Take hats, and sunscreen. Parking is far away so go early for a spot and expect to be in lots of traffic arriving and leaving. Fireworks afterword is nice
It is always exciting to go to a triple A game, and the Isotopes are no exception! Where else can you have your picture taken with a larger than life Homer Simpson, eat a green chile cheeseburger, and watch baseball all at the same time?
Great surprise for the price. We have gone to a handful of games now since moving to ABQ in January 2014 and have nothing bad really to say. We have sat in different areas and there isn't really a bad seat in the house. For some real fun get some seats right behind home plate (only ~$15) and let the players and umpires know what you're thinking.A tip for groups: IF YOU HAVE 4 OR MORE GUESTS IN YOUR VEHICLE YOU CAN PARK FOR FREE in the designated parking lot. Carpool and safe yourself 5 bucks for a beer in the park.
