I loved this tour! It was very informative and I learned a lot of new information. You get to try numerous meads, which are so delicious! Very low key and informal

We stopped in here while visiting Boston, on a Thursday afternoon. We pulled in and weren't sure we were in the right place but decided to give it a go. We bought the Groupon when we pulled into the parking lot and I'm so glad we did! So many tastings, all intriguingly unique! But even better than the mead itself was the wonderful girl who gave us the tour and talked us through the tastings. She was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly -- overall, an excellent stop and highly recommended!

The Meadery is located at a small little unassuming store front in an industrial park area– not where one would normally think a Meadery would be located. Had purchased a Groupon and visited mid-week so we were the only ones there at the time. The owner and founder, Mike Fairbrother, personally gave us the tour which was a real plus hearing his first-hand accounts and stories of the growth of the business. His enthusiasm and love for what he does really came across – really fascinating! AND he’s just getting started. They currently have 7 full time employees and growing fast. The history of Mead and how it is made is amazing possibly going back to cave days – who would have realized how busy these very important bees are to our enjoyment. The back area tour took around 30 minutes highlighting all their processes and storage. There is a small tasting area in the front with small gifts, honey & Meads for sale. Tastings were yummy – 78 flavors at the moment but you only get to taste six and you get to keep the glass. All the Meads were excellent - Very distinct and flavorful. Not sure what my favorite was, they were all so good. Great unique and fun Mead names – such as First Kiss, Kurt’s Apple Pie (best seller!), Mischief, Mojo, Slow Dance, etc. You can purchase the Meads in some local grocery chains and boutique shops also. Check their website for local stores and tastings. Prices vary but average maybe around $15-20. Keep an eye on this company and if you can’t visit, definitely find a shop to taste, purchase and ENJOY!

While on vacation in Massachusetts. I Googled a wine tasting places near me and stumbled across Moonlight Meadery. We drove over the NH boarder to this lovely little place. Inside we meet the owner Michael, who was so passionate about his work. It showed in each of the Meads we tried. For just a small price we got to keep a souvenir glass. My favorite was Fling. However they were all wonderful. My husband's favorite was Coffee in bed. I had heard of Mead throughout history and in GOT, but never had it before. Once sip and I was hooked. It's the only thing I drink now and give it to my family members for Christmas gifts. I live in CT and can purchase it from the local beverage mart. But every now and then I like to drive back up there to get the experience again.

Great, short tour and explanation of the mead making process, and you can sample any of their dozens of flavors as you wanted. I would recommend following along in the pamphlet while doing your tasting, so you don't forget which were your favorites. Bottles were around $13-$18 each, and we get 4 small glasses out of a bottle. Check Groupon for any deals in the area (Londonderry NH) as this made it a much more affordable afternoon than if paying full price.

We had a Groupon and were surprised to find the location in an Industrial business warehouse.Patrick was a great host for our tour and explained his involvement as well as how their 'Meade' is produced. We sampled many interesting flavors and made some purchases.Fun evening!

I had tried my first glass of mead when I attended a conference in Copenhagen and discovered how much I liked it. That started me on a hunt to find mead in the US. It turns out that there was a meadery literally 15 minutes away! It is best to "take the tour" (mead tasting) so you can try several flavors before buying. I was sold on the Sensual (plain fermented honey - standard) but I admit some of the other flavors (especially Kurt's Apple Pie) were good as well. There is a range from dry to sweet so conduct your tasting like you would wine. We are repeat customers.

My husband and I went for their tour and tasting first thing on a Sunday morning. We enjoyed the very informative tour but especially enjoyed the mead! Yummm....!! They have so many different varieties it was awesome! We left with four bottles... two of which we drank within the next 24 hours!! Thankfully they are only an hour from our house and also I can purchase in the local grocery stores. We are looking forward to introducing our friends to their Mead!!

Great tour from Chris, answered all my detail type questions without hesitation. Tasted a bunch of great meads afterwards and used our discounts to buy 5 bottles. If you've never had Mead, go on this tour and have some samples, be prepared to buy a couple of bottes, you'll want to.If you've had Mead, go on this tour, be prepared for a great variety of Melomels, Metheglins, Cysers and some fascinating barrel conditioned examples...and of course you'll walk out with at least a couple of bottles. If you don't even know what Mead is, go on the tour and find out!Thoroughly enjoyed the time, we were there until past closing on a Sunday, got to meet the owner Mike after the tour and we traded pictures of our home brewing equipment.Going to be back in the area in another month again, planning on another trip in.

My husband and I went to the Moonlight Meadery in Londonderry, NH and the mead was delicious. The son of the owner gave us a tour of their place and it was very informational but the best was completing the taste test. The only thing wrong with this place is there was so many meads we could not taste them all. I guess we will just have to go back there SOON.... This is a local family business and seem to be doing great they are even thinking of expanding to a bigger location. I wish them the best because they are doing a great job and I like to see local family people be successful. Just to let you know we walked away with 6 bottles of meed but could have bought more.

First of all the gps took us on wild goose chase just to get there. We were very surprised to see that it was in an industrial park, so the outside appearance was highly unattractive and nit what we expexted. Next, it was a minimum of $8 for the tastings and I'm used to going to wineries where the tastings are free. Realizing I can just buy a bottle of the stuff at a local grocery store, I decided to skip the tasting so I honestly can't give a full review of this establishment.

The mead tasting is well worth the price - the staff are both knowlegeable and enthusiastic and add to the pleasure of trying something new like mead.

To escape the first of June heatwave we decided to cash in our Groupon and visit Moonlight Meadery. We lucked out and just happened to find a time when only my wife and I were on the tour, which felt a little more personal. We arrived early and had to wait a few minutes for the next tour so they allowed us to do a sampling first. I've tried a few meads in my time, definitely not an expert but I did enjoy the subtle differences in each different flavor. They have tons of flavors so picking just 6-7 to try was a little difficult. Our tour guide was great and explained the whole process with charisma and humor (I'm sorry I forgot his name, but he has a black beard!). I enjoyed hearing the history behind mead and how the company grew. But of course the star is the mead. We ended up going home with two bottles and plan on picking up more in the future. Our picks were Kisses (honey with strawberry wine) and Breathless (an amazing cinnamon mead). Also we were told if we happened to stop by again with the glasses that came with our package deal, we could get another free tasting. I might have to plan to do that again the next time I go exploring NH.

Quiet place in a “strip mall” type building in Londonderry NH (about 5 minutes off the highway). You don’t need to make reservations which is nice. We went on a Sunday around 1130am and were given a tour (15 to 20 minutes) and then had a tasting and walked away with two bottles. Very interesting (and different) to learning about the process. If you are in the area, definitely stop by it’s a fun afternoon experience.
