it was Extreemly Violent,out of controll an the Worst place you ccould ever send your kid,..was over run with drugs,.violent kids from the south end of Boston(southys) that were the worst of the worst and completely out of control...VERY Violent..i remember one kid they threw in a dumpster and lit him on fire,anouther was stabbed in the back by jerry ashbe with a ski pole.,.kids where Rapped there and hung upside down and BEAT..attraction? for wut>? per inmates for Walpole?Which also they had transfers from austin cate to Walpole as well.,.nice enviorment for a 13 or 14 year old kid ver a 18 year old violent criminal..what im daying is ALL TRUE! I was there..i know!i was there from 1973 -1976
