On a sunny, steamy Sunday morning I happened to follow the signs to the James House Museum in Hampton, NH. As Iat a future time pulled into the drive, i was greeted by the enthusiastic prsident of the James House Association who showed me the interior of the house with its exposed beams, layers of wallpaper, and other architectural features. As a history buff, interested in our architectural history, I found the James House facinating.Hope others will come to the house and find it as interesting as I did. I look forward to returning at a future time to see the progress that has been made in understanding the history of this house and the life of its people.
