Came from Lake Darling thru Lake Carlos looking for walleyes and crappies. Found lots of in the shallows which made for a fun day of fishing

Crystal clear water, great public beach. Rented a pontoon from Lake Carlos Marina. Awesome! You can access Lake Darling from Lake Carlos as well but the channel going into Geneva is to small for a pontoon. You can get through with smaller boats or jet skis.

Over the years I have spent a lot of time on the chain of lakes and L'homme dieu is definitely a great lake. It has several "lobes" or "bays" so you have plenty of places to go to find a calm area for skiing or tubing if you are on the lake. The beach on highway 29 is very nice, seems to be a popular spot. One of the most fun things is to pull up to either of the eating establishments, Zorbaz or Bugaboo Bay, in your boat. THey were renting paddle boards there this summer. All they need is a gas pump.

Love this lake. so much fun to go boating on. We like to go to zorbas and sit by the lake here. It does get pretty busy here in the summertime though
