Highlands Ranch Mansion is an amazing hidden gem located in the heart of Highlands Ranch. It is a beautiful "castle" type of mansion that was originally built in the late 1800s. It has recently been updated and expanded to include a few larger meeting rooms as well. The grounds are stunning with abundant flowers (in the spring and summer months) and views of the open hillside, original windmill, entire front range, and even downtown. A beautiful gazebo in the back and upper deck to the Mansion add to these views. The inside of the Mansion is equally stunning, with a mix of both original architectural designs and updated designs. There are many different rooms, each with different motifs to view. There are free tours of the Mansion ever Tuesday and Thursday morning/early afternoon. We often take friends here for a fun place to walk around a bit and see the incredible house and intricately decorated rooms. They also hold summer concerts on the grounds. During daylight hours, you can always walk around the grounds and peak inside the Mansion, provided it is not closed for a special event.Last December, we rented the Mansion for our daughter's wedding, and it was impressive! We wanted a really nice place for the wedding and think this was one of the very nicest venues in the Denver area. When you rent it out, you get the entire Mansion, which makes you feel like a millionaire for the evening :) We had about 250 people at the wedding and heard constant raving reviews about the Mansion. This place is well worth a visit and tour!
