I really hesitate to dogpile the praise--ruining a good thing, etc--but I think Bootstrap can handle it. Many of the craft brew spaces in Boulder County simply aren't pleasant hanging on a weekend afternoon or evening (great beers marred by terrible choices in earsplitting live music, a view of warehouses, very limited food options, uncomfortable seating...sorry guys, but you know who you are). Bootstrap studiously avoids these problems. Paraphrasing another reviewer, it's like hanging out in a groovy living room. Interior cool and dark in the summer, warm and inviting in cold weather. And when there is live music, you can escape to the quieter back porch. I like that there are many food delivery options with walking distance--creating a nice synergy with local businesses--plus Bootstrap usually offers some kind of buffet/food option offered by the Market. Then they go and top off all that good vibe with some truly terrific, interesting and wide variety of brews.

Enjoyed a fun, short visit to this brewery while on a ladies day out visiting local breweries. The beers on tap were really good and a wide variety. The staff answered lots of questions we had about the beer and gave great insight for those who were not sure what they might like. The growler bottles are super cool in design and filled with even cooler beer!

Love Bootstrap. Feels like a friend's living room or back porch - only with really great beer. We're fairly new in town and still manage to run in to someone we know whenever we stop in. The patio space is terrific and the inside is comfie. It's a perfect venue for a party, as well! Had the Pineapple Gold last week: I don't like fruit beers as a rule, it was OUTSTANDING. A little slice of Hawaii in a pint glass in Niwot...lovely. Occasionaly there is a food truck or bring in your own snacks. Definitely worth a visit - or three!

With a plethora of new local brew pubs in the Boulder area, it is nice to have one just down the street. Small, local atmosphere. Jason makes great food for Saturday evenings (after putting together those fabulous community dinners on Friday nights at the Niwot Market). Almost always good local bands playing. I like the chili stout the best (not always available).

Many of us who live in Niwot are quite proud of our "own little brewery." Last fall, after a challenging and warm bike ride, I took my fellow women riders to the Bootstrap. As the four of us (over 60 ladies) sat around the table sipping our beers, we noticed that we were the only women in the room. And we were the only women in the room dressed in bike clothes drinking beer. And most of us had never done this before, at 4PM on a Thursday afternoon. Hooray for Bootstrap Brewery that helped a few older ladies remember a first in my home town!!

I love to meet my sister every few weeks at Bootstrap Brewing. It is very casual and friendly with excellent beer! My fave is the Insane Rush. Be warned, these beers pack a punch. They definitely aren't what you can grab in a can, although I sure wish they would bottle some, if only for local sales. The atmosphere is always casual and friendly, a very local's kind of place. They have been bringing in food venders, which is a really good thing. Helps to sop up some of that alcohol... Stop by and ask for one of their sample trays and find YOUR favorite

indoor and outdoor seating. Casual, nice surroundings. Some sort of card game competition was going on and folks offered to teach us the game.

Steve and Leslie are so friendly and have opened a brewery with great beer and a great atmosphere. I love when the food trucks are around and the music is always good and diverse. It's great to have a brewery that you can walk to, meet up with other community members, and just hang out. I always feel welcome and comfortable here. They are always trying out new recipes for beer and I usually like everything. If you ever get a chance to try Steve's Black IPA, you would swear you died and went to Heaven! Keep up the good work guys, you are here to stay.

A few us happened to go by last night and caught a celtic rock band there. The place was hopping with pretty much an over-40 crowd. Everyone in our group loved the beers. The nearby Niwot market came by with some traditional irish food and was selling dinner plates for a very reasonable price. The chef said that they do come by on Saturdays from around 4-7 and sell small plates of food. You can order food from the restaurants in the same shopping center and they will deliver .If you don't drink beer the only other choices are bottled water and tomato juice. I hope they find a way to get either some tasty root beer or some other option, as I don't like beer enough to order a pint. They did have a 5 ounce taster that I did get which was plenty for me. The place is a bit hard to find, it is behind the shopping center on the south side. There was some additional floor space that could have been used for another few small tables, the chef's table should have been against the wall in the barroom . Overall this place was one of those 'gems' that the locals would prefer to keep secret, but I did see a small writeup on a national magazine recently so I think the word is out! They have a nice place, if you don't mind standing ( so bring flats, ladies!) and you like good beer in a very cool little setting.

Bootstrap has been around for the last 6 months or so. I live a few miles away and was happy to see Niwot get it's first brewpub. Most recently, I stopped by as the brew club I am in was having a meeting there. Steve and Leslie (the owners) were gracious enough to host us there and we happily had a couple of pints of their brews.I had the Flagstaff Amber and Insane Rush IPA while one of my friends tried a Chili Stout (yes you heard right - chili). The Insane Rush IPA was my favorite. Nice and hoppy, just as I like it. The Chili Stout is a seasonal, but they normally have another chili beer on tap as well. I've had that in the past and found it very interesting, but think I'll stick to my IPA :-). Definitely ask for a taste of it if you come in and order a pint if you like it.While food is not provided by the brewpub, bootstrap has made a deal with local restaurants in the same complex, so that people can order food and have it delivered. There are some good deals on Abos pizza, so if you want something to eat with your beer, you can get that too. All in all a cozy place and good crowd. I will be returning.

This is one of the most neighborly and friendly brew pubs I've visited. The beer is unique and tasty. Get a real sense of this community by dropping by any night. We visit whenever guest roll into town. You can have a lively conversation and enjoy a tasty brew. The owners, Steve and Leslie, will greet you with a smile and a welcome. This a refreshing development in the brew pub community. Check it out today.
