geoffrey's pub and restaurant

We found Geoffrey's Pub by chance about 5 years ago when we were traveling in upstate NY and were looking for a quick lunch. When you walk in its like walking back in time. The staff are great and it is really a local restaurant/bar.If you go to the lounge area, there is a bucket of homemade potato chips available to snack on. You have to try them, they are worth the return trip (which we just did, 5 years later).The menu is full of great options including lots of appetizers, sandwiches and entrees. We ordered Poutine and the steak and cheese quesadilla. The serving was large and it was served very hot and quick. Hopefully it won't take five years for us to get back to the area but when we do, we will visit Geoffrey's again!
