champlain center mall

The Champlain Center Mall - it's clean and spacious . I will return for an extended visit. I'm glad there's JC Penney and Target stores. Will search for a book store on my next visit.

This is a thriving, busy mall, or at least looks that way. Fortunately for this mall...and all of Plattsburgh, NY...Canadians from Quebec, just about 20 miles north, flock to shop here on weekends and holidays. Why? To avoid the Canadian sales tax, which is MUCH higher than the sales taxes in New York State/Plattsburgh. People come from Montreal, Quebec City, and even Ottawa to enjoy the Adirondacks and shop here, including this mall. It's not a megamall by any means, but it has a lot of good stores that run the gamut from clothing to electronics to books to sporting goods. If you're in Plattsburgh, it's a good "first stop" when you're searching for something.

The only interesting section is in Consumers square. At least you have a WallMart Supercentre and many other stores where you can shop. Lots of Canadians there. But at the Champlain Mall, besides the Target and Hannaford, there is not much to do.

The only place to look is target nothing much else if you want action go to the Walmart super centre where everyone seems to be there

Didn't have the choices we wanted for sports shirts and hats. Had to settle. Did have good deals at Target though!

There are other outlet malls and strips throughout Plattsburgh but if you're looking for an indoor, well-maintained mall with variety and chain stores such as Target and Best Buy, then head to Champlain Center Mall!

Bien que petit, et bien que certaines grandes marques soient absentes, ce centre commercial est plutôt sympa. En fin de saison, il y a de bons rabais à prendre, parfois jusqu'à 60 %. La plupart du temps, les articles sont soldés à 20 ou 30 % et en plus, vous avez un bon de réduction à valoir sur votre prochain achat (jusqu'à 20 $ chez certains, sans minimum)Pour ce restaurer, vous y trouverez le traditionnel food court.

Bon choix de magasin qui offre des bons prix de fin de saison. Ce fut un excellent magasinage. Il ne faut pas oublié qu'on paie beaucoup moins de taxe soit 3.25 pourcent.
