We had a few hours between our son's graduation and dinner reservation in December. So, we chose to come here for the wine tasting and it surpassed our expectations! The tasting room decor is both comfortable and interesting to browse--and the wood stove was a toasty treat on that chilly day! The family-owners are knowledgeable and friendly--we really enjoyed taking about various aspects of their wines and ciders, as well as the farming and processes involved too. We went home with both wines and ciders--and purchased the full-size tasting glasses too--way better than the skinny glasses many places use! Wishing this business continued success in 2015!

Wow, what a surprise! Truly a family-owned and family-run endeavor and it shows. The wines are wonderful and I'm looking forward to getting some cider which will be shipped to me in FL. The owner knows his stuff and loves what he does. If I lived closer, I'd spend a lot of time here. It's kind of like a "Cheers" in Plattsburg where locals are comfy and visitors are welcomed warmly. I felt at home and really hated to leave. If you are in the area, don't miss this little gem.

A great find while passing through Plattsburgh on the way to Montreal. Didn't even realize that there were grapes growing in this area. Also some fantastic maple hard cider. Awesome place to stop in at.

A must stop if you are in the area. Stopped in for a wine tasting, ended up spending over an hour talking to one of the owners. It's nice to see a family operation, it's a father, two brothers and the daughter, so you are guaranteed to end up with one of the family. I learned a lot about the grapes they use to make their wine and all about the process of making the hard cider and wine. When I was there they had their Strawberry Hard Cider available and it was the best hard cider I've ever had.

Knowledgable family owned business that makes great wine and hard cider. Have been several times and they just continue to grow and impress! Definitely worth a trip! And did I mention, the family is awesome too!

After visiting so many wineries up and down the west coast, from Willamette to Napa/Sonoma to Santa Barbara to Temecula, we were delighted to discover Elfs Farm during our vacation to New York and Montreal. It wasn't busy on the day of our visit, a gloomy rainy day. The farm house style tasting room sits next to the vineyard. Inside was neat and cozy typical of Adirondacks. The winemaker Shawn (or Sean?) poured us five wines and a couple hard apple ciders and shared with us the wine making stories of his family. The wines were delicious with distinct style resembling those we tasted in Finger Lakes where Shawn horned his wine making skills. The hard apple ciders were the most flavorful. Highly recommended.

This is one of the best vineyards on the Adirondack Coast Wine Trail! They have amazing wines and an unbelievably delicious hard cider. If your not familiar with hard cider or don't normally drink it, try theirs. You won't regret it! They also have a huge vineyard and a unique tasting room. Fun times at Elf's!
