Huge and beautiful place to shop eat drink watch movies spend some quality time with family friends or for couples. Moreover I loved the "Nyack Motor Lodge " which is right in front of this mall. You can stay peacefully with affordable price and can visit anytime to the mall driving or walking too.
a LOT of places to eat, a movie theater to pass the time (very nice when the weather outside is bad), lots of shops - even for the hardiest of shoppers, and an indoor ferris wheel.
Probably the biggest mall in the NYC metro area. 4 floors with plenty of shops and restaurants and even an IMAX theatre. Def a great place to be when very cold.
I am not a mall person. However, this mall is work the visit if you are in the New York City area. It is so popular that tour buses make the run on a regular basis. If the is a chain store in America it seems to have a store here. No kidding. The food court is better than most.
This is probably the only mall where I can actually take my time to shop. It’s a perfect thing to do when you need to get a lot of various items and the weather sucks. People are civil and friendly in this town. I saw DMX walking around here few weeks ago thought that was funny.
Palisades Center is a joy to visit and shop. We do not have anything like it in Sullivan County, NY, and the Macy’s; J.C. Penney’s are so different than the ones near us in Wallkill, NY, demographics I suppose. The abundance of shops and restaurants is refreshing, sort of like shopping in NYC without the headache.
Palisades Center, located just off the Highway north of Tappan Zee Bridge, is a great place for shopping for the whole family with wide range of goods and prices. With a multiplex it offers entertainment and a large variety of eating places. Activities are available for small children such as Merry-go-round, and other activities for older children.
This shopping mall is huge and have plenty of store options, but not as great as the nearby shopping mall of Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ where you could avoid paying sales tax on shoes and clothes unlike in N.Y. State. I like the entertainment and restaurant options the mall has, such as Dave and Busters. It used to look like a warehouse but they remodeled the mall recently but still not that beautiful like other typical modern malls.
By far the best mall in the immediate area.Between the various stores / restaurants / movie theaters and assorted activities you can easily spend a full day here. Spacious - even when crowded - the mall has been upgraded a bit to compensate for its original architectural faults. Recent "stale" restaurants have been turned over with fresh options. (Note: We're not talking "fine dining" here which shouldn't be expected at any mall).Strong Anchor Stores here from Best Buy to Target & JC Penny.Located across the Loews Theater the large comfortable Barnes and Noble provides a welcome visit before or after a movie. The theater itself looks a little worn and unkempt. Something needs to be done here as employees look disinterested. My visits have been throughout the afternoon - no eveningsFree parking always a plus - especially here.
I've been here since I was born. This mall is more like a city than any mall! They have a TGI Fridays, LEGO Store, Dave and Busters, McDonalds, Stir Crazy, Justice, Macys and more. And it's multipurpose! They have a dentist office, barber shop, post office, market research, nail salon and more. Come take a visit - I'm going next Wednesday!
Lots of great stores but too much traffic for me. I like some of the restaurants and stores but not the crowds. A good spot for business but I prefer smaller places.
Like someone said, not a place you'd want to visit. Work here, eat fast and get out. All they want is for you to spend $. They charge for free tap water at some places (AMC Loewes) and McDonald's refuses to give tap water. Bring your own water to this place. Restaurants are overpriced and sometimes the food isn't that good or tastes spoiled. I have had food previously from restaurants here that moved away. Only a few stores make it worthwhile to go there.
This place is huge. You need to allow yourself many, many hours if you like to browse and shop. They have everything imaginable, food, bowling, movies, shopping, etc
This mall is absolutely enormous mall. They have every restaurant, store and activity you could ask for. It seems very clean. I just wish we had more time to spend there. We will definitely be making the 2 hr trip back there soon!
Holy cow! This "mall" is more like a destination than a mall. I spent several hours strolling the 5 levels of this place. The center court 5-level ropes course was so much fun to watch. Guests from children's birthday parties were crawling, scaling, traversing and all other forms of climbing the course. The top level had a vast selection of restaurants like Tony Roma's and Joe's Crab Shack. A variety of other dine-in establishment encompassing sushi to habachi to even McDonalds lined the concourses. An iMax theater as well as a traditional movie theater and bowling alley added entertainment to the mix. Another level contained the traditional food court options. To add to the enjoyment, a ferris wheel, carousel and rock climbing wall gave children of all ages something to do. I didn't have time to visit each store. I could have spent an entire day looking around and finding treasures. If I'm back in the area, I will definitely make the time to visit again.
