The east side of the trail is mostly flat and easy get around. The west side has some scrambling over the rocks after you get past all of the wood walkways and is more challenging. Always a nice hike with views of the pond and bubble.

The Jordan Pond Path was a very enjoyable July hike. The path is flat and stretches 3.3 miles around the pond. It’s a good workout with great, scenic lake views.

This is a beautiful spot in the park, plus wonderful place for lunch or a snack. We enjoyed a great lunch and topped it off with thei pop overs. The pond is beautiful and the walk refreshing

The short trails around the pond have nice views and are easy walking. If you go, don't miss getting the famous popovers though!

As part of a trip we went here - it is so peaceful and serene. The scenery is gorgeous and I took several photos. Definitely not a place for noisy children and we were lucky - there were none. It is kept in immaculate condition and worth a walk to get there.

A great spot to grab some of the famous Pop-Overs with the specialty tea. If you like deep black-tea, the Jordan Pond special blend cannot be missed.

The walks along the edge of the lake are really rewarding and one doesn't have to go far to be away from the crowds around the visitor centre. With Autumn colours developing effectively and a calm day, it was easy to get great photos. It is a marvellous place.

This is a great place to pull in, have a drink and then wander right round the pond taking in all of the views as you go.

Fabulous, serene, peaceful area. Just wasn't enough time for everything. I will return next fall. Too much to see.

We love Jordan Pond! It is an oasis of ultimate serene beauty and tranquility. Clear water and gorgeous green mountains surrounding the pond make you forget about all your troubles: it is the best cure from our busy city life and hectic work. We especially love sitting at the lawn chairs after 5-6 hours hike in the mountains looking at the peaceful pond and relaxing. Yes, it could be crowded, but there is a big new parking lot available now. The cafe and the gift shop are very nice. We bought a very detailed map of Acadia trails there and it was very useful on the hikes. We go to Acadia twice a year every year and every time enjoy it more and more.

I loved this pond it is so clean and beautiful. The trail is also nice. This is a must see in Acadia national park.

We were fortunate to be here at the end of the busy season and near-peak color season. We encountered only five or six other people, and enjoyed a simple breakfast here after seeing the sunrise from Cadillac Mountain. We sat on a stone bench built at the end of the pond to recognize this favorite spot of someone who enjoyed the same view a hundred years ago. Be sure to wander some of the paths that will give you serene, beautiful views at every turn.

My husband and I enjoyed lunch here after 4 hours of hiking. The meal was great, and I really enjoyed the popovers with strawberry although we had them in the dining room rather than the lawn. That's what we get for vacationing in October. :) Service was good...drinks and food were timely.

Jordan Pond was stunning. This entire trip exceeded all my expectations. The Pond was beautiful. Water so clear. Rocks were awesome. Path around was great. Note the carriage roads start down here. Bridge over by Pond is gorgeous as well. Don't miss the Pond of the bridge.

We ate lunch at the Pond. It was quite picturesque and almost made us feel like we were on the show Downtown Abbey. The popovers were fresh and delicious. You will either need reservations to eat here or you will be put on a waiting list, as we were. It only took about 15 minutes to be called for a table and it was well worth the wait.
