Wonderful selection of apples and a good deli counter. Their fresh peaches in season are delicious. I wish they would stay open a bit later in the evening.

Have been coming to Bolton Orchards for over 15 years. We live in Framingham but make special trips because my wife had lived in Lancaster. Our kids love the cider donuts, honey sticks and best Apple Cider anywhere but Apple Pie was disappointing. No apples, just mostly a puffed up crust. Love the place but their Apple Pie should be stellar.

If you live in New England, or any cold weather state during the winter, buying locally grown apples. peaches and pumpkins in the Fall is a must. The leaves are beginning to turn bright colors and you need to go for at least a short ride and buy crisp apples recently picked. As a matter of fact I think it a must to park your car on the grass adjacent to an overfilled parking lot at least once a year. I don't go to a local orchard to save money. The apples will cost more than at the local supermarket but there is no comparison. Those orchard apples are far superior. So you pay a little more for apples but are not restricted to the common varieties of Macintosh, Cortland and Delicious. Nothing wrong with them but we bought Spencer apples for the first time and they were incredible. You also don't have an admission charge so it is a very inexpensive excursion. The atmosphere is carnival-like in October with all the cars, people, pumpkins and a very added attractions like a Kettle corn booth. Don's miss the apple cider donuts. Enjoy yourself and don't think about snow this coming winter, at least for a little while..

Go there for the quintessential New England apple-orchard experience. Go there for the maple confections. Or go there for the pay-a-nickel-for-apple-cider-in-a-Dixie-cup (insider tip: not worth it). But for the love of all things large and small, go there on the weekend to get a hot-from-the-fryer cider donut coated in cinnamon/sugar. You'll debate with yourself about getting a single donut, but do the right thing and get the six-pack. On second thought, get two six-packs because the first six will be gone before you leave the parking lot and the last thing you want is to smell like cinnamon donuts and regret when you get back home. Now, while you're waiting for your first half dozen to come out of the how-are-they-not-burning-to-a-crisp smoking oil, do yourself a favor and fire down a fistful of the complimentary cinnamon/sugar cider donut pieces offered up there on the counter. Don't worry about how those laggards behind you in line are judging you as you over-sample those heavenly pieces, just know you have donut crumbs on the sides of your mouth and they can only wish they did.As you pick up your bounty and head towards the register to happily pay, give that donut maker a big high-five. And be careful, those six-packs are hot!

Growing up in New England I wanted to take my new bride, A Chicago girl, to a place where we could pick up a few mementos of our trip to take back to family and friends back in the southwest. We ended up having lunch there and ticked off quite a few of our boxes for absolute classic New England souvenirs. The wide array of apples, the maple candies and a huge variety of jams, jellies and relishes. The fresh produce and bakery items just ad to the wonderful experience there. Thanks to all the great folks at Bolton Orchards

Since I was a kid I would come to this place every apple season to pick apples. They have the orchard all the way up a hill which is beautiful in the fall when the leaves change. The store is great too with amazing caramel apples.

I wanted to order a lemon cake for my daughter's bridal shower and contacted supermarkets and BJs. None of these stores baked lemon flavored cake. I searched online for an Italian bakery and found Gerardo's Italian Bakery. They have 3 locations and the one closest to me at Bolton Orchards was only 9 minutes away. I called to place an order and the baker asked me several questions to determine what was needed. She made a lemon sheet cake with lemon pie filling, Italian creamy frosting (which was described to be somewhat like the consistency and weight of Cool Whip. When I told her the color scheme of the shower and that the center pieces for tables would be sunflowers, she informed me that she could decorate the cake with sunflowers at no extra charge. Needless to say the cake was not only beautiful, but exceptionally delicious! Everyone at the shower remarked on the flavor, texture of the cake, and light and creamy frosting. Ordinarily, I avoid eating frosting. I don't enjoy the sugary, overly sweet frosting, but this was delightful.

Bolton orchards has an interesting selection of unique items that are found in a country store. Vegetables, fruit and meat are always fresh and tasty. Apple cider is always amazing and don't forget the hot apple cider donuts on weekend mornings! Prices are a tad in the hight side, but that is what one typically expects for such a store. A few years ago they added a bakery in the back that provides additional choices. Staff is always friendly!

Bolton Orchards is part of my daily routine. Whether I go for apples, bread, cream, celery, peanuts, greeting cards or Sunday newspapers - it's all available here. It's not a "convenience store" because it doesn't carry beer or wine or lottery tickets or cough syrup, but it is certainly convenient for me. And I like having it right here in town.

We started going her over a dozen years ago. Maybe it's because the place is more crowded now, but the quality and experience have fallen over the years. The farm store is ok, but the bakery used to be better. "Hot" apple crisp was lukewarm, and so mushy that it was actually more like applesauce, with no "crisp" whatsoever. With so many nice orchards in the area, we probably won't hurry to return.

We have been going here every year for about 10 years before our annual apple picking trip. It is a great country store with lots to choose from. We pick our pumpkins out here and get the fresh Doughnuts. Most of our group buys there lunch here to for the day. We also got some Cannoli this year and they were really good. They also have awesome apple cider and fresh fruits. It is a must stop if in the area.

Bolton Orchards is a fun stop when using 117 to access 495. Lots of fresh fruit, delicious apples and cider, as well as specialty counters : coffee, deli, bakery, made to order sandwiches and ice cream. A country market that is fun for the whole family.

A must-stop for anyone in the area! Great local produce, nice deli, a coffee shop and Gerardo's Bakery all in one place! And a great spot for ice cream lovers!

Bolton Orchards at the intersection of Rt. 117 and Rt. 110 in Bolton, MA has a pretty good selection of fresh produce, apple cider, apples, a great ice cream counter in season, a good deli, and nice coffee counter. But the highlight is the Pastry counter by Gerardo's Bakery. The ricotta bar and the Dulce de leche bar were really delicious. Worth the trip, just for the ricotta bar.

We stop at Bolton Orchards whenever we go by. Great apples at a good price. Sandwiches, Coffee, and Ice Cream. A Bakery with Killer Deserts. Good selection of fruits and vegtables, local produce, seasonal specials, and from time to time, hot cider donuts. Friendly efficient staff. Can be busy, but always worth the stop.
