Crawfords' Nautical Book Bank is a unique Tilghman Island experience-from it's large selection of used books on nautical topics, to it's new books-across several genres-, to it's owner, who is always ready with a joke or tale about Island history and life. Located in an old bank building. The store is organized in "bays" each of which addresses a different theme-Sailing, Fishing, Naval History, etc. The owner is a local author, raconteur, and Island Diarist..of a sort. His tales of Jimmy and Sook are worth the trip alone. It's worth a browse by-if you are on the Bay Hundred peninsula.
