We stayed here from Feb. 21 to the 28th, 2015. Having never heard of this hotel chain, we were sceptical but reserved anyway. Very glad we did. It is about 40 minutes from Punta Cana airport but we didn't mind because we got to see some of the countryside. The grounds of this resort are enormous. There are two sides, the Tropical and the Cocotal. We stayed at the Cocotal. The beach was great, plenty of beach chairs and shade so we didn't have to wake up super early to reserve a spot. There is a spot on the beach where there are many short palm trees that create sort of like a little forest, so if you don't find an umbrella, you can find shade in that little forest. It's very practical. The water was gorgeous and warm. Only a little bit of seaweed. The food was also very good and there were lots of choices. There are two buffet areas, the Macao and the Saona. It is the exact same food, just two different rooms. Every night there was a different theme at the buffets, i.e. foods from a different country every night. The à la carte restaurants were also good (the Italian 'Cinecitta' and the japanese 'Jade'). Our room was nice and simple, with a fridge, TV, hair dryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan and balcony. Before the trip, we were very worried about malaria. We had read that we should bring insect repellent and get vaccinated prior to our vacation. We never got vaccinated but did bring insect repellent. And guess what? All that fuss was for nothing because we never got stung. There were almost no insects, even at night, maybe the occasional fly, but that's about it.All in all, we had a great time and highly recommend this resort.

Definitely try this out, you get to hold a sting ray and snorkel with nurse sharks. The staff were always very helpful and even put on a show at the end of the trip.

Beautiful resort. Very far from the airport. Rooms are nice and kept very clean. Staff are very friendly and all speak English fine. The buffet is large and always something good to eat. Our room was right at the pool, ground floor and noise was never an issue. Could do without the vendors hounding you to buy there goods up the main walkway a few times a week. But we just walked around the long way to avoid them. 1 day for them would have been fine. We did purchase some nice hand crafted items. I would recommend this resort. The beach is nice and clean.

Loved the service, cleanliness and choice of restaurants.The beach and pools were beautiful. Buffet was awesome. Only cons are while walking around the pool - do not step on the tan stones. Very slippery. Also, there was a seedy store (not associated with Sirenis) and they sold my 12 yo son an overpriced beach ball.

Pools were amazing! Never had to rush down to reserve a spot. Food was brilliant! Great variety and extremely tasty. Rooms were well kept and clean. The beach was the best part of our trip. Right off the beach are excellent reefs for snorkelling and swimming. We fed fish and took fantastic pictures that will last a life time. Highly recommend this resort for families. The water park has something for all ages. Staff was all very friendly and very accommodating. Thank you so much for the wonderful family vacation.

A lot of people get banged up falling in the drain slide. You could hurt your back or head coming shooting out of the slide into the spinning drain.

I liked the grounds were well kept, liked steak house, japanesse and romantic lobster dinner on the beach. dislikes, buffet food, needs more wait staff on the beach taking drink orders, should have a couples only/adult section only. lots of kids

Our vacation in Jan of this year at the Sirenis was wonderful!!! Just want to thanks Renaldo and Avil!! They were the best !! They were always there to help with anything. And to the bartenders in the Lobby Bar, Alberto ,Jobani and Dariel! You 3 were great!! Even with my broken arm they were so cautious of any one hitting my arm at the bar. Because of them I am coming back in November with my daughter and friend! So Can't wait to see you all again!!! Thanks for a fabulous time!! And I can't forget to Thank Charlie and Leeandre at the pool bar, You both made our days so much fun!! See You all soon!! Linda Niedzinski

We like the pools. Little bit more area to swim than at the resort. If I had to pay though I would not go. We disliked the waterslides. Very rickety. Was not crowded.

this was a fun park for both the kids and adults to play in. very clean and there is food, shopping, nice bathrooms there

Visited with 6 adults in Jan 2015. Spent a few hours at the park, include with all inclusive stay at the Sirenis Punta Cana. A few slides that anyone can do. Small pool for adults. We had no young kids but looks like it would be great for them. Lots to do within the park!

We talked to a couple from Chicago Illinois USA. They liked everything about the resort food was wonderful

The water park was a great size, food was average, but it was fun to relax by the pool while the kids played!

Brilliant Water Park also free entry whenever you want, if you spend your Holiday at the above Hotel. Food there, which is all inclusive, I would give 8 out of 10. Nice friendly staff, changing rooms, Lockers & showers there too. There is also a Gift Shop in the water park complex, cheaper than the hotel Gift Shop.Plenty of sun loungers around both of the pools & on grassed areas. Great kids pool, very shallow that has water slides & large half barrells that fill up with water & empty! Great if you just want to cool down. There's also a pool for babies too.The main attraction is the big slide with around five lanes, this is great fun plus other slides as well.It's a very clean park, mostly concrete, with a big grass area.We spent quite a few days there as it was more peaceful than the Hotel.They also take photo's of you on the slides & every day bring either a Parrot, Monkey or Lizard to have your photo taken with. Photo's are printed on site so not to long to wait for them either.Great Day Out for all the family.

Enjoyed the times we went it's a short walk from the hotel. If you stay at hotel it's included. Long water slides where you can race each other down. Toilet bowl slide fun but watch head as you enter. Nice set up with food change rooms and shopping. Pool part is ok if some just want sun.
